Borderlands has been released across Australia today, after the street date was "accidentally" broken. The game was set to be released on Friday, but thanks to our good friends at EB making a slight mistake you can pick it up after work or school today (or drop everything and run out now).
We don't normally make a fuss about a slight street date mishap, but there's been talk over when Borderlands would actually be released all month. Originally retailers scheduled it for October 23, however, last week some had it listed as October 25 in their system. As it stands it was released two days early, rather than two days late. Funny that.
The best price we've seen in store is $89.95 at JB Hi-Fi. GAME online has it for $79, which most GAME stores will match, or for $29.95 when you trade in one eligible title (console prices).
